Going Deeper Check-In Privacy Policy

Going Deeper Check-In is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the Going Deeper Check-In mobile application, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.
Going Deeper Check-In is provided by Abundant Life Counseling and is designed to help users complete private relational and emotional check-ins, worksheets, grounding exercises, and related recovery activities.
Information We Collect
When you create and use a Going Deeper Check-In account, we may collect the following types of information.
Account Information
We collect your email address to create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, allow you to sign in, and provide password-recovery functions.
User-Entered Content
The app allows you to enter information such as emotions, thoughts, emotional-intensity ratings, planned responses, actual responses, worksheet entries, and other information you choose to record. This information is associated with your account so you can access your history and use the app's features.
User and Account Identifiers
A unique user identifier is associated with your account to securely connect your information with your account and provide app functionality.
Subscription and Purchase Information
We may receive information about whether you have an active subscription, whether a purchase has been completed or restored, and related subscription status information. Payment transactions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Going Deeper Check-In does not receive or store your credit-card or bank-account information.
Product Interaction and Usage Information
We may collect limited information about how features of the app are used, such as app usage, feature interaction, completed check-ins, worksheets, or other structured activity. This information is used to operate and improve the app and to understand general patterns of app usage.
We do not use the private free-text content of your check-ins or worksheets for advertising or targeted marketing.
How We Use Information
We use information collected through Going Deeper Check-In to:
- Create, authenticate, and maintain your account.
- Save and display your check-ins, worksheets, history, patterns, and related information.
- Provide subscription access and restore purchases.
- Operate and improve app features.
- Understand how often features are being used.
- Maintain the security and reliability of the app.
- Respond to support requests when necessary.
Private Check-In Content
The personal content you enter into Going Deeper Check-In is intended to remain private to your account unless you choose to share it.
The app does not continuously monitor your activity or automatically send your entries to a partner, therapist, counselor, or other person.
If you use a sharing feature, you control what information is shared, the time period included, and the intended recipient. The app requires your action before a report is shared.
Third-Party Service Providers
Going Deeper Check-In uses third-party technology providers necessary to operate the app.
Supabase
Supabase provides database, authentication, and secure cloud-storage services used to maintain user accounts and app information.
RevenueCat
RevenueCat helps manage subscription status, purchase verification, and restoration of purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play.
Apple and Google
Apple and Google process purchases and subscriptions made through their respective app stores. Their handling of payment information is governed by their own privacy policies.
These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services and support the operation of the app.
Advertising and Tracking
Going Deeper Check-In does not use your information for third-party advertising.
We do not use Meta Pixel, retargeting pixels, advertising identifiers, or advertising-tracking SDKs.
We do not use your email address, user identifier, purchase history, product interaction information, or private user content to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.
Analytics
Going Deeper Check-In may use limited structured information to understand app usage and improve the app. For example, we may examine how often users complete check-ins or use particular features.
Private free-text content entered into check-ins and worksheets is not used for advertising analytics.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information stored through Going Deeper Check-In.
User information is stored through secure cloud services, and access controls are used to restrict account information to the appropriate user.
No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, however.
Data Retention
We retain account and app information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your account, comply with applicable legal obligations, and resolve legitimate operational or security issues.
Canceling a subscription does not automatically delete your account or your stored information.
Account and Data Deletion
Users may request deletion of their Going Deeper Check-In account and associated data.
The app is intended to provide a Delete My Account & Data option within account settings. When an account is deleted, associated personal app data will be deleted subject to any information we may be required to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or financial-recordkeeping purposes.

Your Choices
You may choose what information you enter into the app.
You control whether reports or selected information are shared with another person.
You may discontinue use of the app at any time and may request deletion of your account and associated data.
Children's Privacy
Going Deeper Check-In is not specifically designed or marketed for children.
We do not knowingly use children's personal information for advertising or tracking.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to the app, its features, service providers, or legal requirements.
When changes are made, the updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
